According to a source, “Oyedare Kayode Stephen” whose Instagram handle is @ace_autos1 and his wife’s handle is @kniffy_cakes defrauded a man of N4.1 million naira. Kayode deals with preorder cars and his procedure is to pay 60% before the arrival of the purchased car and balance up 40% when the car is available.
His victim, a car agent who also resells vehicles, obtained a car from him through that procedure and delivered it; he then obtained another one through the same procedure, depositing N2.5 million naira and waiting for the car to arrive.
On June 22, 2022, Oyedare Kayode Stephen notified the car agent that the car had arrived, and the car agent contacted the buyer to settle the balance for the car.
The problem began when (Oyedare Kayode Stephen) began making various excuses and lies. Oyedare Kayode Stephen blocked the car agent on WhatsApp and later unblocked him.
When the victim, the car agent, applied a lot of pressure and demanded a refund of money or the car he paid for, he was blocked again by Kayode.
The victim (car agent) reported the incident to his wife @kniffy cakes, who showed no interest and remained silent on the matter.
The true owner of the vehicle has now decided to have the car agent arrested.
