According to a media personality, a guy in her Abuja neighborhood approached her and promised her an NYSC contract to supply 50 thousand NYSC kits at N10,000 each, totaling N500 million naira.
She submitted a contract proposal through the guy (Scammer), the proposal was not attended to for one and a half months, and the guy told her that the Director General of the NYSC was on leave.
Until one day, the guy (scammer) came around and said the Director General of NYSC had picked up her proposal and approved it for payment; she even spoke on the phone with the alleged Director General o.
Later, the guy (scammer) told her that she should show seriousness by thanking the Director General of NYSC with a gift and that if she gives him N500,000 naira, he knows the gifts the Director General of NYSC will appreciate.
She was about to transfer the money, but her maximum transfer balance was N300,000 naira, so she was looking for someone to assist her in moving the money all at once because the guy (scammer) does not want the money in bits.
Whilst still searching for someone to help her with the transfer, she got curious and wanted to know who she was dealing with; she didn’t know much about the scammer, so she decided to ask her neighbor about the scammer; it was then that she realized the man was a driver who wanted to dupe her.
