The scammer allegedly claimed to be a Forex Trading Investment with the name Johnson (Chris Clan Entertainment) and the UK phone number +44 7405 003353.
He tells innocent victims that he is trying to assist them by requesting that they invest in his Forex trade with various amounts of money ranging from N100,000 naira to N50,000 naira, N20,000 naira to N10,000 naira, and so on, with the promise of high profits in return.
His first conversation is, “Do you have N50,000 naira?” “Make the payment now to reserve your slot, Account Number:1468962866

He will ask you to send a screenshot of the transaction, and after confirming it, he will give you a form to fill out.

Another way he defrauds is by starting with a giveaway format and sharing it on his status.
The phrase “first to view post wins N200,000 naira” attracts attention because many people will be pushed to view it.
Then he edits with an arrow mark that someone has been chosen and that the victim should send account information for the giveaway prize. He sends 20 naira to the person in order to obtain a debit alert message from the bank. He then edits the bank alert message by adding zeros to make it N200,000 naira, which appears to be genuine, and sends a screenshot to the victim.
The victim’s response is captured before the victim notices. “Thank you very much, sir… Sir, God bless you.”
Then he takes a screenshot in order to rip the next unsuspecting victim.
Meanwhile, he has amassed a large number of contacts through his hacking techniques on Instagram and WhatsApp, achieving over 300 views at a goal on his post via WhatsApp status, which has caused many people to fall for and continue to fall for his cheap scam.
