An unsuspecting vendor reported to scam express how she got scammed by the fraudulent Instagram page.
The unsuspecting victim explain how the fraudulent Instagram page @_apple_phone_shop with over a hundred thousand followers duped her with his page making her think he was legit.
The handler of @_apple_phone_shop said he accepts instalment payments, the victim didn’t have the full payment then and she wanted to buy iPhone X but the money wasn’t complete.
So she paid the handler N108,000 naira after the handler sent CAC to prove the business is legit.
The victim noticed something fishy about the Instagram page which she didn’t notice before.
She demanded a refund then the handler blocked her on both Instagram and WhatsApp.
She reported to the Nigerian Police force and didn’t see any results.
To date, no refund of the part payments to the victim.
