An unsuspecting buyer approached Instagram online vendor @phonesweetshopng to purchase a phone; this Instagram page claims to sell various types of phones and gadgets.
The victim purchased a 13 Pro Max from this Instagram page @phonesweetshopng for N620,000 naira.
The victim described how the handler of @phonesweetshopng convinced her that they were real by sending her CAC certificates and showing her the physical shop where they operate, as well as convincing her that she would receive what she ordered.
The handler of @phonesweetshopng stopped responding to her messages the moment she paid.
No phone has been delivered to date, and no refund has been issued.
