An unsuspecting victim reported a fraudulent Instagram page called @thebigfootbrand that has been defrauding thousands of Nigerians by selling shoes online.
This Instagram page @thebigfootbrand posts various types of shoes and fake CAC credentials on their Instagram and also runs sponsored advertisements to entice victims.
This victim paid N38,000 naira for a shoe from the handler of @thebigfootbrand on Instagram, and the handler blocked the victim immediately after payment.
To date, no item has been delivered, and no refund has been issued.
