On the 6th of February 2023, a customer paid N9200 naira into the uba account of sa_fragranceng1, which included N7000 naira for perfumes and N2200 naira for delivery to Ibadan.
She instructed the handler of sa_fragranceng1 to deliver the items a few days before her return to town.
After that, the handler of sa_fragranceng1 did not respond again, and the customer wanted to buy more products from the page.
The unsuspecting customer became suspicious and returned to the Instagram page, only to find other people complaining about late deliveries, some dating back to last year.
The unsuspecting customer also complained on Instagram about being ignored on WhatsApp.
The victim discovered later that day that her comments and other negative reviews had been deleted. However, the victim continued to text the WhatsApp number daily but received no response.
A week later, the unsuspecting customer used another WhatsApp, and the response was prompt.
That’s when she realized her messages were being deliberately ignored.
To date, no perfume has been delivered, and no refund.
