In a recent unfortunate incident, an individual fell victim to a dubious Instagram page known as @specious_kiddies. This deceitful page falsely claims to sell children’s clothing online, leading unsuspecting individuals into their trap.
The victim came across this fraudulent page on Instagram, where @specious_kiddies showcased an appealing post featuring children’s clothing. Attracted by the displayed merchandise, she proceeded to initiate contact with the page handler, engaging in negotiations and eventually making a payment of N24,500 naira to the account provided by the page handler.
However, as soon as the payment was made, the victim found herself instantly blocked by the handler of @specious_kiddies on Instagram, leaving her without any other means of communication or recourse.
