ScamExpress on Instagram was recently contacted by a victim who fell prey to the deceitful practices of the Instagram page @danis_sellercourt.
On the 2nd of June 2023, the victim placed an order for a washing machine from the Instagram declutter page @danis_sellercourt. To make the purchase, the victim paid a total of NGN 67,000, which included the washing machine cost (N60,000) and delivery charges (N7,000).
However, the handler behind @danis_sellercourt failed to fulfill the delivery commitment even after one week from the agreed-upon date, providing a barrage of excuses.
Despite the victim’s patience, the handler further disappointed them by claiming that the owner demanded they wait until July for the washing machine to be released. Unwilling to endure further delays, the victim insisted on a refund, to which the handler agreed during a conversation that day.
Unfortunately, the handler’s promises were mere deceptions. They continued to provide the victim with various excuses until abruptly cutting off all communication with the victim three weeks ago. The victim made relentless efforts to reach @danis_sellercourt through various means, but all attempts proved futile.
Now, it has been nearly two months, and the vendor, operating under the name “Danis Sellers Court Limited,” has shown no willingness to refund the victim’s money or deliver the purchased item.
