Olusegun Medupin is grappling with the frustration of an unfulfilled service from Legend Internet Limited, having paid N93,425 for an internet device and installation service over 13 months ago.
In an interview with a source, Medupin, who made the payment on behalf of Youthhub Africa, highlighted how the company’s services appeared promising until the payment was made. Despite their initial excellent correspondence, Legend Internet Limited failed to honor their agreement, leaving Medupin without the promised installation and no response to his refund requests.
“Correspondence was great when they sent a quotation. They even sent a formal quotation. But after I paid the money, no one came to install anything. I didn’t get any messages, and this went on for months. Mind you, I also sent texts to some of the staff at the company with no response whatsoever. None at all from any of them,” Medupin recounted.
After waiting for seven months with no progress, Medupin formally requested a refund, submitting a letter to the company’s customer care. Unfortunately, the refund letter did not yield any positive results.
Despite acknowledging the letter, customer care failed to honor Medupin’s request or make any effort to fulfill the installation. Even after 10 months, when Legend Internet Limited seemingly took responsibility, they failed to follow through on their promises, leaving Medupin and Youthhub Africa without either the connection or a refund.
According to Medupin, a representative named Joshua promised to rectify the situation within 48 hours and take appropriate measures against the responsible staff. However, these promises remained unfulfilled, leaving Medupin bewildered by the brand’s apparent irresponsibility.
Multiple attempts to contact Legend Internet Limited’s customer care between January 14 and 16 went unanswered, and a mail sent to the company on January 16 has received no response as of press time.
