In a shocking turn of events, Matthew Odah, a delivery rider, is accused of betraying a customer’s trust by allegedly selling three iPhones, valued at N1.7 million, for a mere N300,000. The incident took place in Lekki, Lagos State, where Odah reportedly disappeared after collecting the phones last August. However, his run came to an end when the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command apprehended him. Alongside Odah, two buyers were also detained, and one of the stolen iPhones was recovered.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, stated that charges against Odah will be pressed once investigations are completed.
