My sister just fell for this scammer named Edward. Edward is a big scammer on IG who claims to sell phones.
On the 15th of January, I saw a phone with the price tag #70,000 on Fix__gadgets_ page on Instagram. I saved his number which was available on his page( 08135799066,+234 905760 0603, 08111286956 ), and then texted him on WhatsApp to confirm if the phone was still available for purchase and if refunds were allowed. He said it was available and refunds were provided, then I told him I was going to get back to him.
On the 20th of January I got back to him asking for the phone to be delivered the next day, we made an agreement and I paid half of the price #35,000 to this account number 6550959912 Fidelity Bank the name to this account is Anikan Wealth, expecting the phone the next day.
The next day 21st of January, he called and started making up stories telling me I have to pay the remaining half for the phone to be delivered, I refused and asked for a refund, he said there was no problem in him refunding the money. Ever since then I called, texted him but no response I also got blocked from viewing his page on Instagram. Beware of that scammer.
