There is a particular scammer who joins several Freelancing WhatsApp groups looking for who to prey on. He posts jobs with good fees and gives jobs to writers. The work is mostly in bulk with promises of payment after completion of the work.
And once the work is done, he will start posting you and giving lame excuses before finally blocking you.
Hustling freelance writers out there should stop taking jobs from unknown people if there is no trusted escrow in the mix.
