An unsuspecting online shopper was looking for where to shop for some wear online, so she stumbled on an Instagram page @tife_palace.
She saw some nice clothes she liked and opted for a turkey gown wear, she paid N31,800 naira plus a delivery fee. The agreement was that after confirmation of payments, the goods would be delivered within 72hours.
Unfortunately, the goods were not delivered as promised. She tried reaching out to the owner of the page and stopped responding to her chats, but if she tries using another person’s handle, the owner replied swiftly that he has the clothes.
With further investigation, the victim noticed the Instagram page handler has changed his name several times.
