On Instagram, a client was seeking places to buy clothes and came across @rikkys.colection, which she followed.
She was enamored with the products sold on the Instagram page, so she took a picture of a shirt, shorts, pantyhose, and a purse.
Then she provided the Instagram page handler the photos of what she wanted, and she inquired about the polo’s size.
The customer supplied a portrait photo of herself to the page handler so that she could know what she would give to the consumer.
She immediately submitted her account number, requesting that the customer begin payments, and the customer promptly sent the handler of the page N12,000 naira plus the waybill N1500 naira, totaling N13,500 naira.
The owner of the page acknowledged the request for evidence of payment, which the client provided, and promised to send the products the next day.
No waybill has been provided, and she has not responded to her messages or offered a refund.
She even tried calling the number listed on her Instagram page, but it was disconnected.
