A minor importer’s business owner needed to make payments to foreign suppliers. Due to the lack of availability of forex, she was forced to seek alternative methods of payment to purchase products, with PayPal being the sole option.
She contacted BOLANLE OLUWAFEMI on a telegram group that claims to have 3000+ worth of PayPal for sale. BOLANLE OLUWAFEMI stated that her price for one dollar is N498 naira. The businesswoman needs $300 in PayPal funds.
The business lady deposited N149,400 naira to BOLANLE OLUWAFEMI, who acknowledged the payment and said she will credit her PayPal account in a few minutes.
That was the business lady’s last encounter with BOLANLE OLUWAFEMI; she went offline on Telegram and had no way of contacting BOLANLE OLUWAFEMI.
So yet, there has been no credit or refund to the PayPal account.
