A customer purchased from Elijah Chidiebube Egwim (A shoe seller), after seeing a post on his WhatsApp status about a shoe he liked.
He transferred N27,000 naira to the account of “Elijah Chidiebube Egwim,” promising that it would be delivered the next day.
Elijah Chidiebube Egwim lied about giving the shoe to a deliveryman and refusing to answer the client’s phone call.
The customer attempted to contact the online vendor via WhatsApp but discovered he had been blocked.
So far, there has been no delivery of shoes and no refund.
