On Monday, August 8, 2022, the EFCC charged Ahmed Umar with cheating and obtaining false pretenses before Justice A.O. Adeyemi Ajayi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Maitama Abuja.
The defendant allegedly pretended to be a Flying Officer of the Nigerian Air Force and took N300,000 naira from one Caleb Ibrahim under the guise of securing a job for him.
