Many unsuspecting victims have been duped by this Instagram page @bulkdatanigeria, which has been reported several times.
This Instagram user, @bulkdatanigerla, posts enticing bulk data deals in order to entice unsuspecting buyers.
One of the most recent customers duped by the user was enticed by a cheap bulk data offer; she saw the Instagram post of the user @bulkdatanigerla and chose a specific data plan.
The Bulk data scammer provided the customer with a phone number to which she could send airtime in order to transfer the money.
She transferred N6000 naira in airtime to the number she was given; however, the customer was ignored and later blocked immediately after payment.
To date, she has not received any bulk data bundle.
