Adesewa, an Ibadan-based thrift collector, has been nabbed after fleeing with millions of Naira.
According to a source, Adesewa fled despite pleas from contributors to refund or remit their funds. She ran out of luck, however, when one of the contributors discovered her hiding place after a thorough manhunt and took her to the nearby police station.
One of the contributors said in a voice note that has gone viral that Adesewa departed with millions of Naira and used money to upgrade to big girl status by purchasing an iPhone 13. In addition, the contributor who caught up with her was seen in a video expressing dismay at how a gorgeous girl like Adesewa could be involved in such an act.
