A scam Instagram page called @abujawigtools, supposedly selling wig-making tools and hair accessories, has been brought to light by an unsuspecting customer.
The victim made a purchase from this page in Abuja on Sunday, with a delivery fee making a total of N30,000 naira.
Despite the promised delivery date being last week Monday, no item has been received, and all attempts to contact the handler of the page have been ignored.
Moreover, the victim’s requests for a refund through Instagram chat have been met with constant excuses and avoidance.
In a desperate attempt to seek resolution, the victim’s mother also reached out to @abujawigtools, only to be blocked.
To date, neither the ordered item nor a refund has been provided by this fraudulent page.
