WhatsApp TVs like Boom TV/ Cruise Tvs have been swindling people of their money. Their format is to set traps for unsuspecting victims by running fake giveaways.
They lie that they have a sponsor who wants to do a giveaway and post photoshopped pictures of chats and alerts on their Whatsapp status to lure people in.
Then they proceed to quiz people to get winners. And who no like free money? This is the part people appear to be gullible and do anything to claim their prize.
They also post fake winners, making it look more believable. And by the time the desperate losers message them that they also won, they will then promise to console them.
And the consolation here is to tell them to send money to the WhatsApp TV to get double or triple of their money, i.e 10k to get 20k 0r 30k, 50k to get 100k or 150k, etc
They block you after receiving payment. Shine your eye o… Don’t fall for it.
