The intention of some of the people that run giveaway posts is to scam people.
A guy dropped his phone number under a giveaway post telling “the first 10 numbers to drop their numbers will get data”
Moments later, he got a call that he was selected as a winner and that he will receive a code and send the code to the caller immediately after he gets it.
The code happened to be an OTP code, and once he sent the code, his bank account was wiped.
