A customer paid for an apartment at No. 4, Ekundayo Sanusi Street, Abule Egba.
She paid 250,000 naira to one Mr. Ibrahim Atanda, who claimed and lied to be the landlord of the building in order to forcefully acquire money for the building illegally, despite the fact that he is just an ordinary developer.
The annual payment for the building is 150,000 naira, but he requested she pays for a year and a half (75,000), for a total of 225,000, plus the agreement and commission of 100,000 naira, for a total of 325,000 naira.
When she made the payment, the house was still under construction. On a regular Thursday, a close associate of hers told her to go check on the apartment she paid for to see what was going on. When she arrived, she discovered that the other six people had also paid for the same apartment she had.
The man is nowhere to be found, and all of his initial available lines have been disconnected.
