Whestwind technology, with the Instagram, handle @westwind_tech, claims to sell home/kitchen appliances.
On July 20, 2022, an unsuspecting buyer saw their mid-year sales post on Instagram and ordered and paid for a particular product worth N143,000 naira plus a delivery fee.
The items were not delivered as promised by the online vendor to the unsuspecting buyer, she was blocked on both Instagram and WhatsApp by the user of @whest_wind on Instagram.
The victim went on to use another Instagram account and discovered they were still posting on their page looking to scam unsuspecting buyers; she attempted to expose them by commenting on the post but discovered the comment section had been blocked.
To date, no item has been delivered, and no refund has been issued.
