The Instagram handle Scamexpress recently received a report from a victim who was scammed by two Instagram pages: @shortletsolutionsltd and @thedeclutterspot.
The victim, attempting to avoid being scammed, received a positive review about @thedeclutterspot from the handler of @shortletsolutionsltd, unaware that they were collaborating in the scam.
The victim contacted the handler of @thedeclutterspot about an air conditioner listed on their page. After negotiating, they agreed on a price of N110,000. Upon payment, the victim was immediately blocked. Attempts to reach the handler of @shortletsolutionsltd also resulted in being blocked.
Scamexpress team members on Instagram tried to contact the handler of @thedeclutterspot but received no response and were subsequently blocked.
To date, no item has been delivered and no refund has been issued.
