The unsuspecting victim saw an advertisement from Kunle Farms Ng. on the Facebook page, in which they posted roasted snails; this post captivated the victim’s interest because he is a snail fan.
The victim obtained the Facebook page’s WhatsApp number and placed an order; the fraud page’s handler even offered the victim fish and other smoked items that were available and promised they would be delivered the same day after payment.
As soon as the victim transferred the funds, the handler of Kunle Farms Ng. confirmed it; however, the victim hasn’t heard from him since, and the victim also sent messages to the handler of Kunle Farms Ng on Facebook, with no response.
In the evening of the same day, the victim returned to the page and posted that the handler of Kunle Farms Ng. had not responded since he paid.
The unsuspecting victim also saw another WhatsApp number and contacted as a new customer.
Kunle Farms Ng handler, immediately responded, this time offering crocodile meat. When the victim mentioned that he had paid for snails earlier today, the handler of Kunle Farms Ng. stopped responding on the second WhatsApp number!
When the victim returned to the page, it said the page was no longer available, so he suspected he had been blocked.
To date, no items have been delivered, and no refund.
