Scamexpress, an Instagram watchdog, recently received a distressing report from a victim who fell prey to the fraudulent tactics of an Instagram page known as @ELIORA_LADIES_CLOSET.
The victim, in need of specific items, encountered a tempting post on the @ELIORA_LADIES_CLOSET page on Instagram. Eager to make a purchase, she initiated a direct conversation with the page’s administrator to inquire about the desired items. After some negotiation, the victim agreed to purchase two dresses and cover the associated shipping fees, amounting to N19,000.
However, as soon as the payment was made, the victim found herself blocked on Instagram, with no means of contacting the page.
In an attempt to shed light on this scam, Scamexpress reached out to @ELIORA_LADIES_CLOSET for clarification but received no response to date.
