As the general election approaches, scammers are sending out fraudulent text messages to unsuspecting victims.
Here’s an example of a recent text message sent to an unwitting victim:
WELL Done!!! You have just been gifted a token of N69,200 naira from Atiku Abubakar Empowerment funds call Hamza to be credited now (07037844839).
