An unsuspecting individual reported an Instagram page, @funmiluxushair, to Scamexpress due to its involvement in fraudulent activities. This particular Instagram account falsely claims to sell hair products from various brands.
According to the victim, they had been following the page owner, @funmiluxushair, for the past two months. The Instagram page had recently announced a promotional sale with free delivery for a period of ten days, coinciding with the owner’s birthday.
Enticed by the offer, the victim decided to purchase a pair of hair products for 6,500 naira. The handler of @funmiluxushair informed the victim that the delivery would take place after four working days. On the same day, the handler requested the victim’s delivery details, which were provided.
After the completion of the four working days, the victim messaged the handler of @funmiluxushair, and no response.
However, when the victim attempted to reach out to the handler again the following day, there was no response.
Concerned by the lack of communication, the victim decided to visit the Instagram page of @funmiluxushair to check for any updates.
It was at that moment they realized that they had been blocked by the handler of @funmiluxushair on Instagram. As a result, they were unable to view any posts or even access the handler’s profile.
To date, no hair has been delivered, and no refund.
