Scamexpress received a report from one of their victims who fell prey to the deceitful practices of the Instagram page lowestprices_store. The said page, located at Shop 45, Oyo plaza trade fair complex Badagry, Lagos, claims to offer a wide range of clothing brands at unbeatable prices.
According to the victim’s report, she came across multiple posts on the lowestprices_store Instagram page showcasing various types of dresses they purportedly sold. She went ahead to purchase dresses worth N18,000 naira and paid an additional N2,000 naira for delivery, bringing the total cost to N20,000 naira.
After the dress she ordered failed to arrive as promised, she reached out to the lowestprices_store Instagram page handler for an explanation but received no response.
Upon realizing that other victims of lowestprices_store had also been leaving comments on the Instagram page, only to have them deleted and subsequently being blocked by the handler, the victim confronted the handler about the issue. However, the handler of the lowestprices_store immediately blocked her as well.
In an effort to gather more information, Scamexpress carried out further research on Instagram and attempted to contact the handler of lowestprices_store, but their attempts were also met with being blocked.
To date, no dress has been delivered, and no refund.
