On September 26th, an unsuspecting buyer contacted the handler of @Papagiro.apple.legit.store on Instagram to purchase a new iPhone 11 128g.
She inquired about installment payments and was told she needed to make a 70% down payment to qualify for express delivery and that the payment period must not exceed three months.
She agreed and transferred N260,000 naira in two installment payments to the Instagram handler’s account.
The payment was confirmed, and she was informed that the delivery date would be September 28th, 2022.
When her ordered phone did not arrive, she tried to reach out to the handler of the Instagram page, then realized she had been blocked on both Instagram and WhatsApp.
To date, no phone was delivered and, no refund.
