A man simply identified as Emeka is currently on the run for allegedly stealing from a lady, Amarachi, at a hotel in Owerri, Imo State.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Thursday, November 4, at Jjmas hotel, Owerri, when the suspect invited her over for a hangout.
A source said, “My friend went out with this man on his invitation and he gave her a drink which had been laced with a drug in his hotel room. She woke up to find him gone with her iPhone 12 ProMax, 32-inches bone straight hair missing.
She retrieved her line and discovered that he had cleared out N320,000 naira from her account. The scam victim uploaded his picture online platforms, different victims reached out about how he did the same thing to them.
