“Chuksbay” on Nairaland collected N20,000 naira from 23 members in the name of a money update, but it turned out “Chuksbay” was editing free YouTube videos that didn’t work and putting his own voice-over on them before sending them to the paid group.
On the backup group, which he had already locked, he posted a screenshot of the Youtuber’s earnings in one of the free YouTube videos in order to entice the backup group to pay N20,000 naira.
The victims realized they had all been duped and that there was no way to get their money back.
