According to a source, a businesswoman revealed how she hired a salesgirl on the recommendation of someone she trusted due to her busy schedule while working for a federal government parastatal at that time.
She came to her store one faithful day and was heartbroken after the salesgirl gave out clothes worth millions of naira to a man who came to swindle her with a fabricated story, that the man came to the store and told her he was sent by the businesswoman to pack some clothes which was a lie.
Further investigation revealed that the salesgirl conspired with the con man to steal over N1 million naira in designer clothes, the businesswoman was forced to involve the law enforcement agency, which ordered her to pay the value of the stolen goods.
The next thing the businesswoman noticed was that the salesgirl had packed all of her belongings from her place of residence and vanished with no trace of her ever being found.
