A Nairaland user described how he was duped by a fake foreign exchanger named “Gasayi” on Nairaland; he even sent a screenshot of his National Identity Card to prove that he was genuine.
The victim transferred N6,600 naira to Gasayi’s account in exchange for $11 Payoneer dollars.
Gasayi denied seeing the transfer and refused to fulfill his end of the bargain.
He has yet to fund the victim’s account and has received no refund.
