An unsuspecting individual reported fraudulent activities on an Instagram page called @qaseemcollections. This page claims to sell various brands of phones on their page.
An unsuspecting customer messaged the handler of @qaseemcollections about getting a phone and closing a deal.
To ensure that he was dealing with the right person, the customer initiated a video call with the handler of @qaseemcollections.
Following the video call, the victim paid N50,000 naira as a down payment and asked the handler of @qaseemcollections to send their shop address and balance up with cash because he has a brother near the location the handler provided.
Since then, the handler of @qaseemcollections has not responded to his messages or returned his phone calls.
To date, no item has been delivered, and no refund.
