The MTN Nigeria management has warned the general public about false messages circulating on the internet from people requesting that they upgrade their sim to 5G and then share their OTP with them.
To ensure their safety and security, the general public should not share their OTP with anyone claiming to be associated with MTN in order to assist them in switching from 4G to 5G.
They advised that the one-time passwords (OTP) that you have is mainly for your personal use. Giving it out is the same as giving out your ATM password.
