Just as the cryptocurrency market has been growing very fast, scammers have been using it to scam a lot of crypto enthusiasts on social media, most especially Whatsapp and Telegram.
Their format/approach is that of an organized crime where a group of scammers conducts a lot of fake transactions while posing as fake buyers, sellers, and escrows. The idea of the transactions is to lure people in and gain their confidence.
And the moment you enter their trap and buy or sell by sending cash or crypto, they will kick you out of the group. They will block you and maybe change their group name in order to be untraceable.
