An unsuspecting victim who usually buys things on JIJI, saw a car and approached the seller. The seller asked the victim to make a down part payment of N50,000 naira to bring down the car from Akure to Lagos.
In the process of bringing down the car, the victim noticed the two accomplices kept asking for money for fuel, mechanic money, custom duties money, etc.
One of the accomplices claims to be a pastor, whereas all that they say were all lies. The victim in the end lost N100,000 naira. To date, no car seen or a refund.
