A recent victim shared her harrowing experience of falling prey to Oluwayemisi Josephine George’s scam on Facebook Marketplace.
It all began when the victim came across a tempting post by Oluwayemisi Josephine George, offering “Pomo” at incredibly low prices on Facebook Marketplace. Eager to make a purchase, she engaged in negotiations with Oluwayemisi Josephine George, ultimately agreeing to a price of N50,500, inclusive of delivery fees.
Assured by Oluwayemisi Josephine George that the delivery would be prompt, the victim eagerly awaited her purchase. However, as time passed, no delivery arrived. Concerned, the victim attempted to reach out to Oluwayemisi Josephine George, only to discover that she had been blocked.
Realizing she had been scammed, the victim was left without her purchased item and no hope of a refund.
