Lately, there’s been a rise in fake farm pages on Instagram. They might look real with lots of followers and posts about farms, but they’re scams. Here’s how to tell:
1. They’re super quick to respond if you ask them anything.
2. They claim to be in places like Ondo, Oyo, or Abuja.
Check their “about” section – they often change their usernames.
3. They’ll give you a personal Palmpay account for payment, saying it’s for quick confirmation.
4. They always say “payment validates orders.”
5.Their pages are filled with tons of posts showing meat, Wesson oil, and more.
6. Some have pictures of people’s faces, others have logos.
7. If you call them out as a scam in the comments, they’ll delete the account fast. They offer competitive prices and target people too busy to go to the market.
Don’t fall for it!
If you spot pages like these, tag them so others won’t get scammed.
