An unsuspecting client received flyers from his aunt for a travel agency called @firsttravels1, which he called and inquired from the travel agent “Odafe Destiny Obera.”
“Odafe Destiny Obera” was told to send the application details, his picture, and his driver’s license, which he did to prove he is a legit travel agent to work with.
Based on his request to process his travel documents, the client transferred him over N1 million naira.
With the excuses and stories he kept telling, the client began to suspect “Odafe Destiny Obera.”
The client stopped giving more money to Odafe Destiny Obera, who stated that he was working with an immigration lawyer to help Process the client’s PR through provincial nomination, and advised him to also register for IELTS.
The client noticed that his social media page is still active and unaffected, which is dangerous for society as others may fall victim.
To date, no legitimate document has been issued to the client, and no refund has been made.
