Under this harsh pandemic, a lady called me with a very nice voice that my account has been selected to receive 10,500 as palliative from Federal Government.
She mentioned my name and my BVN correctly and told me she is calling from my bank. When i asked her which of the banks because I own several accounts, she paused and switched it to CBN that she was calling from there. She then proceeded to ask me about my ATM Card. That I should read out my card number and details to claim the N10500. It was at this point, I knew she was a scammer.
